High-Energy Pre-Game Hype
Designed to get the stadium rockin'!

"A dramatic game intro sequence built around two opposing helmets colliding inside a fully lit stadium environment. This piece was designed to set the tone just before kickoff and give the players a cinematic entrance moment."
Concept & Visual Style
I approached the intro like a classic sports-broadcast opener — big lighting, atmospheric depth, dramatic camera moves, and a high-stakes collision moment. The animation needed to feel heroic and intense while still matching the school’s brand.
3D Workflow in Cinema4D
I created the stadium environment and both helmet models inside Cinema4D, using its modeling and MoGraph tools to populate the stands and generate a sense of scale. The animation focused on strong forward momentum, lens-driven motion, and a smooth buildup toward impact.
Redshift Rendering & Lighting
Using Redshift, I crafted a night-game atmosphere with bright stadium lights, volumetric fog, and reflective materials on the helmets. Redshift’s global illumination and motion-blur support added the realism and speed needed for a sports opener, allowing me to hit a broadcast-ready visual target under tight deadlines.
After Effects Compositing
Final compositing was handled in Adobe After Effects, where I added color grading, punchy highlights, atmospheric overlays, and camera-shake enhancement during the collision moment. Redshift’s AOVs provided clean control over lighting passes, helping me refine the final look efficiently.
This animation became the team’s weekly game-day opener — a high-impact, cinematic start to every home game.
