Creative Approach

Where Job Cost was budget-centric, Renovation Management needed to feel more hands-on and project-driven. The creative direction leaned into building blocks, task cards, and modular pieces snapping into place—mirroring how renovations are built step-by-step.

I kept the tone energetic but structured: just enough personality to stay engaging, but with visuals that clearly illustrate the workflow.

Design & Animation Workflow

The piece used the same unified visual system as the other RealPage animations:

Modular icons and UI elements

Minimal shading

Clean animated lines and shapes

A warm, optimistic color palette

I animated most of the piece directly in After Effects, using rigged 2D components for team communication symbols, scheduling tools, and progress trackers.
Cinema4D supported a few dimensional transitions, such as project boards flipping or items rotating smoothly in 3D space before flattening back into the 2D style.

Result

The final animation communicates how Renovation Management reduces chaos and keeps teams aligned. Snappy transitions and playful motion bring clarity to a complex workflow, helping potential users instantly understand the platform’s value.
